February 2020, what had been three distinct churches merged and felt a sense of calling toward a declarative name. Hope City was born and we began to declare: There is Hope. Only a few weeks later, America was ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemnic and our doors were shuttered. We began to edit video and minister from a digital platform and meet together in open-air environments. There is Hope became more than a tagline. It became a rallying cry. It became a constant reminder that, through it all, in Jesus and through His people, There is Hope.
